The Folson Group was founded 13 years ago by Tina Larsson and Mark Foley, a husband-and-wife team who saw firsthand how much time, money, and stress NYC co-op and condo boards could save with the right support. After helping their own building uncover hundreds of thousands of dollars in waste, Tina and Mark realized that most boards lacked the tools, data, and bandwidth to run their buildings like the complex businesses they truly are.
Today, The Folson Group provides NYC boards with expert guidance in energy efficiency, cost reduction, project oversight, and property management searches. Using their backgrounds in financial analysis and operational strategy, Tina and Mark identify hidden savings, streamline operations, and oversee improvements that make buildings safer, more sustainable, and more affordable for residents.
Their mission is simple: empower volunteer board members with the clarity, structure, and professional insight they need to govern with confidence, run their building like a successful business, and protect their building’s long-term value.
As an NYC Accelerator Service Provider, we provide products and services that support projects to reduce energy and water consumption and contribute to the #decarbonization of NYC.
